  • IF YOU HAVE A FEVER -OR- COUGH AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH; AND HAVE EITHER TRAVELED TO AN IMPACTED COUNTRY OR HAVE COME INTO CLOSE CONTACT WITH A PERSON KNOWN TO HAVE COVID-19, PLEASE CALL NEMS BEFORE COMING INTO THE CLINIC.
    • NEMS is expanding Telephone Appointments and Video Appointments
    • You can now LiveChat through our website to speak to our Call Center (see chat window on bottom right of this page)
    • Our Call Center and Clinics will be open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Phone numbers: 415-391-9686 or 650-550-3923 or 408-573-9686.
    • When calling, please be patient and continue to hold until you speak to an agent. We are experiencing high call volumes at this time.
    • DRIVE-THRU TESTING is available for high-risk patients. You must be an existing NEMS patients or register as a new NEMS patient to make an appointment. Please call us to be screened first; testing is not available to the general public because of the limited number of tests available.
  • If you are having a medical or psychiatric emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
  • Existing appointments may be rescheduled to telephone or video appointments in order to limit the number of in-person visits at our clinics. If you have a routine or specialty appointment, we recommend calling for more options. Please call our Call Center from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.   • On-call doctors will continue to be available after 5:00 PM, but only for urgent issues.

CHANGES TO NEMS CLINICS

The following NEMS clinics will REMAIN OPEN effective March 18, 2020.
Clinic hours will be from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We will be closed for lunch from 12-1 PM and on Saturday and Sunday.
Any sites not listed below will be closed to conserve on resources and ensure staff and community safety.

  • San Francisco Chinatown: Stockton Street Clinic & Pharmacy
  • San Francisco Portola: San Bruno Avenue Clinic & Pharmacy
  • San Francisco Sunset: 1450 Noriega Street Clinic & 1400 Noriega Street Pharmacy
  • San Francisco Richmond: 1019 Clement Street Pharmacy (no medical services/appointments)
  • Daly City: Eastmoor Clinic & Pharmacy
  • San Jose: Lundy Clinic & Pharmacy

MEDICAL SUPPLIES DONATIONS

We are currently accepting donations of the following NEW, UNUSED ITEMS during the nationwide shortage of supplies:

  • Unused face shields
  • Packaged, unused protective goggles
  • Unopened N95 masks or equivalent
  • Surgical masks (unsealed OK)
  • Surgical gowns
  • Unopened hand sanitizer

ABOUT COVID-19

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is a global outbreak that has affected people in many countries, including Mainland China and the United States. Local, state, and now the federal government has since declared public health emergencies in hopes of stopping the spread of this disease.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, cough and shortness of breath. If you have traveled to a country/region with cases of the new virus, and you develop symptoms, call your doctor and tell them about your symptoms and your recent travel.
