Debe hacerse controles peri\u00f3dicos de sus senos para detectar cualquier signo o s\u00edntoma de advertencia. Es el segundo tipo de c\u00e1ncer m\u00e1s com\u00fan entre las mujeres en los Estados Unidos. Se recomienda una mamograf\u00eda cada 1 o 2 a\u00f1os para mujeres a partir de los 40 a\u00f1os.
