July 2019 - Hepatitis B Workshop

Hepatitis B is a contagious liver disease caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). Approximately 1 in 12 Asian Americans are living with Hepatitis B, but most people do not know it. There are many things you can do to protect yourself and reduce your risk of Hepatitis B. If you want to learn more about Hepatitis, please attend NEMS Health Education Workshop.

July/August 2019 - TaiChi Class - 1870 Lundy Clinic

Based on the Sun style, the Tai Chi Program is a low-impact physical activity program that includes gentle movements suitable for people of all ages, mobility, ability and fitness levels with any form of arthritis. Tai Chi For Health Institute certified instructors are trained on how arthritis affects the body, arthritis safety principles and the approved forms. Classes don’t require deep bending or squatting, are one-hour long and may be done seated or standing. Improve your qi today!

Learn how to prepare fast, delicious and healthy meals on a budget. SIGN UP TODAY FOR FREE COOKING CLASSES!


Practicing skills like:

  • Preparing healthy and delicious recipes quickly
  • Buying fruits and vegetables on a budget
  • Comparing prices to find bargains
  • Reading and comparing food labels
  • Planning affordable meals and sticking to your budget!
