Member Services

The Member Services Department is here to answer any questions you may have. We will assist you in patient registration, membership renewals, and enrollment into specially-funded health programs if you meet the eligibility requirements. We can also enroll you into Medi-Cal, health insurance through the Covered California health benefit exchange, Medi-Cal Access Program (MCAP), SF Healthy Kids Program, Healthy San Francisco (for San Francisco residents only), Primary Access Program (for Santa Clara residents only), or CalFresh Programs. We also provide renewal assistance for all the programs listed above.

You May Be Eligible For CalFresh!

May is Calfresh Awareness Month and NEMS wants to take this opportunity to educate our patients about the CalFresh Program. CalFresh is the new name for Food Stamps in California. The program assists low-income individual and households to purchase nutritional food. Eligibility for CalFresh assistance is based on household's size and income.

NEMS Member Services department offers assistances with CalFresh application. For those of you who are enrolled in CalFresh, Member Services Department also offers assistance with completing semi-annual report and annual renewal. Completing these reports helps maintain your benefits when you are eligible.
