North East Medical Services (NEMS) is a non-profit community health center serving the medically-underserved populations of the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 35 years of experience, NEMS is one of the largest health centers serving Asians in the United States.

Our mission is to provide affordable, comprehensive, compassionate and quality health care services in a linguistically competent and culturally sensitive manner to improve the health and well-being of our community, regardless of ability to pay. Our staff speaks a variety of Chinese dialects and Asian languages, including Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
